Counting Crows, perhaps the closest thing to an old-fashioned classic-rock band the '90s coughed up, have sold well in excess of 10 million records for Geffen since their 1993 debut, August and Everything After (their latest, the year-old Saturday Nights and Sunday Mornings , clocks in at over 300,000 thus far and reached No. 3 on the Billboard charts).<br/><br/> But now they're getting set to leave the major-label nest.
